One more thing I thought I would mention. I discovered this phenomenon/technique on the Vine. One day someone wrote a story... I don't even remember what the original story was about... Anyway, someone left a comment on the story that was sort of a take-off of the original story. Then other people started chiming in (all of this in the comments) with their own tidbits to add to the story... This spawned a frenzy of comments from many people, all embellishing the original story. Thankfully, the author took all this in good humor. Each contributor to the group-authored story adopted their own persona. Seeing this, I thought I could jump into the story as MAL... an anthropomorphic dog. Ever since then, that has been my persona on the Vine... and now Medium.
