Oh Christyl, where do I begin. You know I admire you both as a masterful writer, but also a person of wonderful environmental ethics. I agree with everything you say (except colonizing the moon). I certainly agree with all you have said here... But, after reading this, I feel like it is time for me to enter the confessional booth. "Forgive me Sister, for I have sinned." You nailed it... You hit everyone of my sins... and surely left a few out. My notion that we crossed the Rubicon long ago is a meager excuse.
