Then I sit down to read the news… It is so discouraging… It is ALL BAD news… Well… not ALL bad, but mostly bad news.
- The various wars
- The ideological hatred
- The economic disparity
- The racial hatred
- The same-sex relationship hatred
- The religious hatred
- Bigotry
We humans manage to find every imaginable way to hate, disparage and attack one another.
Other creatures attack each other too, but the lion does not attack the leopard just because he doesn’t like his spots. For non-human creatures they attack only for basic survival. But we humans, we find every imaginable reason to hate, disparage, attack, and suppress one another. We spend so much of our emotional energy in negatives activities.
But other creatures manage to find good will for those who are different.
